Free utility

Data Preflight performs selected, deterministic checks on supported Shopify and WooCommerce CSV structures. It is an aid, not a complete validation of a store, catalog, plugin, theme, tax setup, or business intent. The utility is provided as available, without a guarantee that it will find every issue.

Local scanning is limited to CSV files up to 10 MB and 100,000 data rows. Downloaded issue reports neutralize formula-like field prefixes, but you should still review any exported file before opening it in a spreadsheet application.

Your responsibilities

• Keep an untouched backup before editing or importing a catalog.
• Review findings and test a small subset before a full import.
• Use only files you are authorised to process.
• Do not enter credentials or sensitive personal data into the project brief.

Service descriptions and prices

Service descriptions, starting prices, and typical timing on the site are planning information. They are not an automatic offer. A project is accepted only when both sides agree in writing on scope, inputs, deliverables, acceptance checks, timing, price, revisions, and payment.

Paid project terms

The applicable marketplace order or signed statement of work controls each paid engagement. It should also address confidentiality, data handling, intellectual property, third-party services, change requests, cancellation, liability, and dispute handling. No store access or file transfer is authorised merely by preparing a project brief.

Platform names

Shopify and WooCommerce are referenced only to identify file formats and compatibility targets. Data Preflight is independent and is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by either platform.

Liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, use of the free utility is at your own risk. Data Preflight is not responsible for losses caused by importing, overwriting, deleting, or publishing catalog data. Liability for paid work, if any, is governed by the written project agreement.
